Lily Dixon

As Knowledge Transfer Manager for Design, I’m a part of the Design and Innovation Effectiveness team at Innovate UK KTN.

Before joining Innovate UK KTN, I worked as a business development manager and relationship lead in an agritech start-up. I was responsible for building and maintaining a network of influencers and potential buyers across the public and private sector. Prior to this I spent 4 years working as an innovation manager and consultant where I led multidisciplinary teams to solve technically-demanding innovation challenges. In this role I got to work across many different industries, including food and beverage, coatings and medical devices. I hold a PhD in synthetic inorganic chemistry.

I am leading the Ignite Labs programme, which facilitates UK businesses to embed good design principles in their innovation process while exploring an aspect of the Future Economy.
